Getting Started
Yes — because we operate as a food ministry rather than a traditional store, you'll need to complete a quick one-time beneficiary application before placing your first order. It takes about 2 minutes and only needs to be done once.
Because of regulations around raw milk in many states, we operate as a food ministry rather than a traditional store. Members of the ministry are called beneficiaries. This is a recognized legal structure that lets us share our farm food with our community lawfully. Learn more about why we do it this way.
Once you're approved as a beneficiary, you can browse our available food and add items to your cart. At checkout you'll select either a pickup location near you or home delivery, and choose your preferred delivery date. See the full How to Order guide.
Orders must be placed 3–4 days before your delivery or pickup date. After the deadline, your order is locked in and can no longer be modified. If you need to make a change after the deadline, reach out as soon as possible and we'll do our best to help.
Your gift amount is charged the day before your delivery or pickup date, once we've confirmed the exact weight of your order. You won't be charged at the time you place the order.
For home delivery orders, there is a $50 minimum — which makes sense when you consider that an insulated box with ice packs has room for a proper order. For pickup locations, delivery to the pickup site is free when your order is over $30.
Not at all. There's no subscription and no commitment to order on any schedule. You order when you want, as much or as little as you'd like.
That said, we do offer a recurring order option that automatically places your order for you each week — great if you like getting the same items regularly and don't want to think about it. It's completely optional and easy to pause or cancel anytime.
Raw Milk & Food Safety
Raw milk from healthy, pasture-raised animals on a clean farm is what humans have been drinking for thousands of years — long before pasteurization existed. The safety concerns commonly associated with raw milk came from industrial farming practices (overcrowded conditions, grain-fed cows, poor sanitation) — not from the milk itself.
Our cows are pasture-raised, fed as nature intended, and we take cleanliness seriously at every step. Our family drinks this same milk every day.
Most people are pleasantly surprised — raw milk tastes richer and creamier than store-bought milk. It separates naturally (the cream rises to the top), which is completely normal. Just shake or stir before pouring.
Some people who are lactose-sensitive find they tolerate raw milk better than pasteurized milk, because the natural enzymes that aid digestion are still intact. If you're transitioning, start with a small amount and see how your body responds.
Kept cold and refrigerated consistently, raw milk typically lasts 10–14 days from the day it was bottled. The key is keeping it cold — don't leave it out at room temperature for extended periods, and store it toward the back of your fridge where it's coldest.
Unlike pasteurized milk which goes sour, raw milk naturally sours as it ages rather than spoiling — soured raw milk is still usable for baking, pancakes, or smoothies.
Raw milk — and especially raw colostrum — is one of the most nourishing foods a baby can receive. There's a reason colostrum is a baby's very first food. We've heard so many testimonies from families about remarkable improvements in their children's health after introducing raw milk, and it's one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.
Many of our most loyal beneficiaries are parents who started ordering specifically for their kids. You know your family best — and real, clean food has been nourishing children for thousands of years.
Pregnant women have been consuming raw dairy for thousands of years. According to Dr. Weston A. Price, raw dairy is actually an essential part of a baby's healthy development — his research on traditional cultures showed that nutrient-dense raw animal foods were prioritized specifically during pregnancy.
The most important question is whether your body is already accustomed to raw milk. If you've been drinking it regularly, continuing through pregnancy is very natural. If you're new to raw milk, the key is to start slowly — raw milk is full of live probiotics and active enzymes, and you want to give your body time to adjust before drinking larger amounts.
Our Farming Practices
We're not certified organic — and that's intentional. We actually hold ourselves to a higher standard than the USDA organic label requires. "Organic" certification still allows the use of some antibiotics, certain drugs, pesticides, and even organic soy in animal feed. We don't use any of those.
We call what we do Beyond Organic — because the certification doesn't fully capture how we farm.
It means our animals are raised the way God designed them to live — on pasture, eating what their bodies are built for, without shortcuts. Specifically:
Yes. The Weston A. Price Foundation promotes nutrient-dense, traditionally-produced food — including raw dairy, pasture-raised meats, and traditional fats. Our farming philosophy aligns closely with their principles. We believe that how food is grown and raised is inseparable from how nourishing it is.
Our cows are primarily pasture-raised and grass-fed. What they are not fed is equally important: no soy (including organic soy), no GMO grains, no animal byproducts, and no synthetic feed additives. Clean feed means clean milk.
We never use antibiotics. Instead, we focus on keeping our animals healthy through proper nutrition, clean pasture, low-stress conditions, and traditional remedies when needed. A sick animal is a symptom of a farming problem — our goal is to prevent illness at the root, not treat it with drugs.
Delivery & Pickup
We offer three ways to get your order:
Pickup locations — we have locations across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. This is typically the most affordable option. Find a location near you.
Farm driver delivery — for beneficiaries within our local delivery area, our own driver brings your order to your door.
UPS shipping — for beneficiaries outside our local area, shipped in an insulated box with ice packs.
When you start your cart, you'll see all options available for your area.
Please reach out as soon as possible. Depending on the situation, we may be able to find a solution — but per our terms, food that isn't picked up during the pickup window automatically becomes the property of the host. We know that's not ideal, so if there's any way we can still get it to you, we'll do our best.
For farm driver delivery, your order rides in a refrigerated van the entire route, so the cold chain stays completely intact. For UPS shipping, your order is packed in an insulated box with ice packs that keep it cold through transit. If you won't be home for a farm driver delivery, feel free to leave an ice chest outside — we'll tuck your order right in.
Each pickup location runs on its own schedule — some are weekly, some are every other week. You can find the schedule for each location on the Pickup Locations page.
Changes can be made up until the order deadline (3–4 days before your delivery date). After the deadline, changes may still be possible but a small $10 inconvenience gift is added to cover the extra coordination involved. Feel free to reach out and ask — we're always happy to help if we can.
