Whether you are looking to have a Family Vacation, Education day of farming and Amish Life, or just want to spend the weekend in the country around animals, this is your chance!
This is a hidden opportunity to experience Amish life with the Lapp Family right here on the farm!
The Guesthouse is a newly renovated 'Dawdy Haus' ( PA Dutch translation is 'Grandpa's House'), that we added a few porches and rooms, and now looks like a brand new house! It is fully equipped with what you might need for a comfortable stay:
- 5 fully furnished Bedrooms
- 2 Full bath with soap, shampoo, and toiletries
- Full Kitchen with cooking basics: pots, pans, utensils, seasonings, coffee maker, refrigerator, toaster
- Large Sunroom with workspace, and large meeting table
- Baby crib and Pack 'n Play
- Laundry Washer and Outside Clothesline for drying
- Outdoor Furniture & camping area
- Electric, Heating, and air conditioning in house
- Wifi is included. No TV
- Games, and lots of space to relax!
Basic House Rules are:
- Treat it as your own house!
- No pets inside house, but plenty place outdoors!
- No Smoking & no parties.
- You are responsible for your children.
- And most important: Be happy and Enjoy your stay!
Things to do outside throughout the day:
- Milking Cows happens twice every day. 6: AM and 5:30 PM.
- Along with lots of other chores like feeding & watering horses, letting cows out in pasture, and cleaning the cow stables.
- Feeding chickens most times happens around 4PM.
- Gardening
- Having Horse & Buggy Ride (upon Lapp Family's allowance)
- And so many other Farming activities happening
- Each day has a slight different schedule, and there's some things you could help with if you want to be a farmer throughout your visit!
- Plus the Lapp Children from ages 9-22 are here to play, work, & share how things work, and what we have learned throughout our lifetime of hands-on farming.

Bedroom #1 and 2: Queen Bed, Fan, & Furniture. (On Kitchen Floor)
Large Sunroom/ Quiet-Room with views overlooking the Garden and other Buildings! Also includes a full Bathroom, Large table with chairs, & games.
Bedroom #3: Regular Bed, Baby Crib, fan, & Furniture
Bedroom #4: Regular Bed, Recliner, Mirror, fan, & furniture.
Bedroom #5: Regular Bed, Mirror, Fan, & Furniture.
We also offer Farm Tours if you spend the night at the Guesthouse.
Each Reservation includes:
- Fee for Cleaning before and after your stay.
- Free Parking
- And includes 1 gallon Fresh Raw Milk, raw butter, 1 dozen eggs, and 1 pack Sausage!
