Frequently Asked Questions:

👉 How long do Pastured Eggs last? 👈

Our Eggs are always delivered fresh, but they do get refrigerated, so it is recommended to keep them refrigerated and they last up to 8 weeks.

👉 What is the difference between the Brown Eggs and the Bluegreen Eggs? 👈

Good question! The Brown Eggs are from regular breed of chicken, and the Bluegreen eggs are from the Ameraucana Chickens.

They are both fed the same diet, so I can't guarantee that the blue-green ones are healthier, altho there is a chance they are. And some people prefer the Bluegreen ones over the brown ones.

👉 What does the Chickens Diet consist of? 👈

That's a Great and Important Question, and we understand the importance of Healthy Animals, so that you can trust the food provided.

The Chickens have access to pasture where they eat lots of grass and grubs, as well as leftover bones and meat from making bone broth. They also get supplemented with a feed mixture of grains and other important vitamins and minerals.
Throughout the summer they have access to pasture 24/7, while in the winter months they do when the weather permits. If the weather doesn't permit, the grass is bought in for the chickens, so they still have access to grass.

👉 Are the Eggs safe to eat Raw? 👈

Our chickens are exceptionally healthy and well cared for, making their eggs safe to enjoy raw—in recipes like eggnog or even on their own.
